This ride used to be at Knott's Berry Farm. I work at the ride that replaced it.
I was so sad to see it go, but I am happy to know it still operates!! I love the sound the motor makes.. that "WHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" sound. I hope this park takes good care of it.

@alec5474 It was very high maintenance and the motors kept burning out. Not to mention it was one of the rides that used the most electricity. One of my friends who works at Knott's says Knott's only has low-maintenance rides.

@TheLApitfighter Yep.

Knotts Berry Farm NEEDS to bring this ride back! It was my favorite and would still be my favorite if it were here. Why did they take it out?

disposable razor or paint roller? looks weird.
Great to see Hammerhead up and running again. But it looks like its new home is a sandy dump of a park.

Now is working again without problem. It was installed on december 2004 but it never work for a lot of time. Sand is part of the enviroment there everywhere .... anyway it is installed on the left side of the main park gate (in front of the Grand Hyatt Dubai, its shadow is visible from google earth too) so it looks very well from the street.

Ha. Looks like they bought it off Knott's. I doubt it. I'm guessing they asked Zamperla for a brand new model, since HammerHead aged ridiculously quick.
