Removing sizing dies and sizing/lubing .45 ACP Hollow points.
Special Thanks to Chris (Lathesmith) on Castboolits.gunloads.com for making great accessories for the star. If you need dies, top punches of various diameters, adjustment nuts with setscrews, roller handle, etc. for you star, drop him a line!

  • Hi Looks good what is the cost of that machine and how many bullets will it finish in an hour I take it that it sizes and lubs in the one action. Just started loading this might be stupid questions but hell you have to start somewhere. Your Video is good keep up the good work

    cheers Bill Miller from Scotland.

  • @bill11738 I think the basic machine is around $250. Magma Engineering has a website and should have some info on there to get you started. Hope this helps. I will be posting more vids on the Star sizer soon. Come back and check it out! Thanks for watching!

  • Great video. Would there be any chance you can do one seating gas checks on the star sizer, preferably .30cal rifle bullets but both pistol and rifle would be better. Please keep the great vids coming. Cheers

  • @penfold357007 Sure.

  • Trying to reach "Lathesmith" and have him make me some dyes. Any Idea how we can get in contact?

  • @horhumminiah You need to become a member over on Cast Boolits Forum. It is a forum dedicated to cast boolits. Search the member list to find him and then send him a message. He can modify how many holes go into the die. He will probably suggest that you send him some of the boolits you plan on lubing so he can space the holes in the die to be most efficient. Good luck!

  • Hi, Many thanks for yourquick reply. Thanks for the info. Good luck with future videos

    Bill Scotland.

  • It seats GC's just fine. The top punch that comes with it seats 35 cal gas checks just fine. I had a custom top punch made for my 45 cal gas checks. The 45 punch is a larger diameter punch. It seats it better, especially if the GC is a tight fit. But yeah, just snap the GC on the bullet and run it thru like normal. You will not be disappointed. Get your dies and top punches from Lathesmith (Chris) on Cast Boolits. I give the info in the video. Thanks and good luck!

  • How about gas checks with this machine . Will this also work or do i need a other machine for that , because i'm interest into buying one of this .
