Scott Pearson has been a part of a number of organizations throughout his 12 years of professional hockey, but he says his time spent with the Chicago Wolves was second to none.

The Wolves are a solid organization, he began. Of all the organizations I played for during my 12 years of professional hockey, nine of which were in the NHL, I can honestly say it was the best of all my professional years. The leadership, trainers, players, and fans were all great. It was like being surrounded by a big Wolves family.

Pearson even suggests that challenges were few and far between when he was skating in Chicago.

We didnt have a lot of challenges. I was fortunate to play for a winning team, a strong team. The leadership and ownership was outstanding, and we just had a great team.

The former defenseman collected two Turner Cup Championships (1998 and 2000) with the Wolves, but there isnt one game that stands out in terms of significance.

Obviously, the games leading up to the championships where always significant, but so were all the other games that came before that. Each game was important, but each game was a step closer to the final goal of winning that championship and raising the Cup.

In addition to two championships rings, Pearson also walked away from the Wolves with a new group of friends.

I still keep in touch with Steve Maltais and Bob Nardella. I also got a chance to see John Anderson quite a few times this year. The internet is such a great tool and has allowed me to stay in contact with some other teammates too.

Although his time on the ice resulted in two championships, Pearson couldnt resist talking about the events that happened off the ice, too.

I really enjoyed the event (Get Fed) were you went to the restaurant and served the fans, he remembered. I also did a lot of reading for the Read to Succeed program. My favorite was when they auctioned off dinners with the players. You got to meet the fans that were so great and it was a chance to give back to the community.
