so i was on nutsie.com which features top ten songs from 1947 and on. I wanted to pick the year where music sorted of changes big time. seems like 1954 would be it.

@Hoffletrof456 Frank Zappa certainly did he loved Johnny and was one of his biggest supporters often featuring him in his shows. I had the pleasure of doing tour support for JGW when he toured Japan for the first time. We discussed his career, his rise and fall. Second time around he died here, RIP.

GOTT DAMN! This shit was so ahead of its time in 1954 and nobody gave him due credit for that. The effects and technique on this is pretty ridiculous. And he only used his thumb. Shit was unheard of back then. RIP JGK

@shinovi1 Fuck yes. If you loose say the horns and put this song out in the late 60's and it would be just as pioneering. And he's not even on the top 100 guitarists list. :(
