Go For A Soda: The Don't Drink and Drive Home Show 2009 - Highlights

Just in time for the launch of the holiday season RIDE programs, Classic Rock Q107 presents the return of Go For A Soda: The Dont Drink And Drive Home Show, an educational afternoon with afternoon drive host Kim Mitchell on Tuesday, November 24th at 2 pm. The program is designed to demonstrate the effects that alcohol has on the body while illustrating the dangers of drinking and driving. Kim is joined by Ryan Parker and Maureen Holloway from the Derringer In The Morning Show who participated in a live demonstration on how each individual differently reacts to alcohol. Also joining them were Srgt. Tim Burrows and PC Alex Crews of the Toronto Police Traffic Services.

Although there were some hilarious moments, the afternoon was intended to educate listeners on the many misconceptions about alcohol consumption and demonstrate how reaction times are affected by drinking.
