Milwaukee Road Bandit GP38-2 Soo Line 4512 and SOO 4428 cross Highway 51 just out of Portage en route to Madison late on a Monday morning. 4512 has another nice Leslie horn, sounds a bit different from WSOR 4008's RS3LR. Perhaps an R/S3K?

Video by my dad.

  • Awesome!!

4512 use to switch in La Crosse in late June. Sweet horn and nice video!!

  • earlier today, Sept. 1, 2009, I saw a old SOO engine like the one in the clip, along with a CP schemed version, then heading a train, then followed by the regular CP engine, that they use now......(sorry for now technical terms)

  • Very nice video!!

  • Sounds like a Prime 920 with Leslie RS powerchambers.
