Days of our Lives Closing Freeze Frame Credits 1985

One of the unique things that Days did that no other soap did was their endings....Days has a variety of ways it ended. Pause/last scene music playing with crew credits, pause last scene music playing with a Corday production (minus the hour glass).......at times the last scene music would roll into the credits with the hourglass. Most of the time they ended with the days theme music. IF ANYONE has any of these type of days endings please post them and let me know if you do so I can subscribe and favorite them.

I got hooked on Days in 1984 when we got our first VCR and a family member wanted me to record it everyday and I had to be the one to work the VCR. I had no interest in watching a soap at all as I thought they would be BORING and not my thing.....Well, after watching a few episodes and hearing that creepy ass background music I was hooked on the show and watched it up until about 1995, then I stopped watching...It was good stuff back then! Dark sets, creepy music etc. Loved it!

It was eerie.....I never watched it during the day. I taped it and watched it each night about 10 pm and it made some of those storylines even creepier...I think the way days ended back then was unique, I don't think any other soap did that. I think they ended, then went to commercial, then came back and closed using whatever their theme music was. I always wondered why Days did that and the others didn't.

@DaysAWFAN I agree with you 100% this is how DAYS should end the credits cause they have credits in white and it's boring...this ending with the last scene paused and the credits rolling and the music is eerie...all I can say is bravo.

I agree. Then they had to add in those weird special effects. I prefer the "pause" followed by the "Days of our Lives" text appearing over the image.

dool did a lot like this in the 80's and in the 90's. the endings were far better then
