  • but then, you're (from the nickname) a stripper, and shouldn't be expected to understand the fraternity and community that real belly dancers share with each other. I am not a belly dancer, I play in drum circles; what can I say, you have just demonstrated the difference between what we call a "belly dancer" and what we call a "belly bunny". you are the latter, the dancer in this video being the former.

  • this is not propper gypsy belly dance!!

  • @scaleblade i understand that belly dancing is for thin women as well, but was limited by the character space allowed. i am am a plus-size bd of 6 years and also manage a true egyptian belly dance store in the US. i am sick to my stomach overhow the united states treats being curvy. i have size 12's who come in & glance about the costumes and say "oh, i'm too fat, i could never do that." at least 3-4 times a day! it hurts & angers me that people like 77ss think they can bash whomever whenever.

  • You have a great musicality. Love it! Keep it up!

  • @jillianlg62383 While I partially agree with you, I have to contradict a bit. Belly dance is not just a thing for larger women. My mindset is that everyone should be welcomed, regardless of size or stature. I am slender myself, but curvy at that so I am not saying this out of spite. But I have seen breathtaking belly dancers of all sizes, from impossibly skinny to va-va-voom big mamas. Its all about how you move your body, not its size. :)

  • @77sunsetstripper you poor, poor disillusioned fool. you are another victim of the amercian stigma that you have to be thin to be pretty. did you even realize that you were insulting another belly dancer by calling that woman "fat"? if you're in the profession your name hints at, i'm guessing that you are some skinny, naive, brainwashed lil thing. :) belly dancing is a thing of beauty for LARGER, CURVIER women. all the other countires actually LIKE confident women with meat on their bones.

  • Love the garb, and beautiful dance. :]

  • Amen.

  • absolutely gorgeous!
