One of the Best... If you like (love) John Prine, and haven't heard of Steve Goodman - give him a listen too, same era, similar style: authentic sweet sad folk stories. (I can't believe anyone disliked this!!) Great Song.

How can you not like this?!... Original artist doing his own song... Nothing better, especially with a sad song like this one.
I've seen JP a couple of times and his songwriting and delivery always pull me in. He is, in my opinion, one of the most under-appreciated artist's of our time.

I love the way he sings this song. He not only sings it but tells it too, i really like his emotion, it feels so real. What a great song. So full of raw strong feelings.
By the way you guys, i really don't mean ot bother you or anything really, but i just uploaded a cover i did of this song, and really tried to put my heart in it, with my own feel.
