5 dislikes and no likes? Puzzling. An effective (if brief and in-French) chart of what happened on Air France 447. I think the cause was that the copilot didn't realize that under alternate law, there is no alpha protect. AF needs to update its pilot training to address this and other hi-altitude upset-recovery scenarios. (Ironically, this is a mirror image of Capt. Asseline's blunder in the Air France 296 incident, in which he forgot that normal law *does* have alpha protect.)
