Mikhail Lobukhin is doing very well since leaving the Mariinsky Ballet to join the Bolshoi Ballet. He went from Mariinsky first soloist to Bolshoi principal dancer and has performed Grigorovich's Spartacus, which is not performed at the Mariinsky and is probably the greatest role for any male dancer. With him partnering Svetlana Zakharova, herself an ex- Mariinsky ballerina, he is not doing badly with partners. There are many underused Mariinsky ballerinas that would do great in principal roles at the Bolshoi, without having to dream of dancing principal roles at the Mariinsky that will never happen, and Andrei Batalov should have gone to the Bolshoi in the late 1990s. He still has a few years of greatness left and a move to the Bolshoi would be richly rewarded.

this audience sucks, they look bored and they don't seem to appreciate all the hard work that has gone into making this performance so beautiful.
