When I researched convertible notebooks there were no reviews or videos online. So here is the unboxing video of Fujitsu Lifebook T900.

I customized mine with:

-Core i7 620m Processor
-Additional 2 year warranty
-Dual Digitizer (pen input plus capacitive multi-touch screen supporting touch gesture)
-Docking Station (+ extra charger)
-Extra Battery (main battery 63Wh - 5800mAh)
-Modular Hard Drive enclosure

If I were you I would get a "smart" notebook software (specifically smart notebook 10) because that's what we use at out school and you can have a really cool color palette, and lots of other features (about 150 other programs come with it) :)

  • I checked the software out. There seemed to be a lot of remedial features centered on teaching applications. I'm trying out 'ArtRage Studio Pro right now.

You mentioned the color palette, what else do you like about 'Smart Notebook 10' that I may have missed?

  • @5567729 I have been using my T900 for 9 months. I can say that it has been working greatly so far. All the heat goes out on the left side and the palm rest as well as the keyboard are not hot at all when the tablet runs.

  • @mattkingston08 Yes, the touch pad supports multitouch gestures such as two finger scrolling and zooming in and out but it isn't activated by default, you have to activate it in the control panel.

About the pen, mine does not have. I do not know how to activate the pressure sensitivity although it is said somewhere that the pen is pressure sensitive.

  • Anyone know if the pen on this has a good number of pressure levels, ie for photoshop etc.

any can the touch pad be used for two finger scrolling and zooming in and out like on the s760?

    thanks all.

  • @5567729 I can tell you that the former model, T5010 which is what I am writing on right now, has a lot of heat. but only on the left side. this may have something to do with the processor or the hard-drive. definitely not the battery...besides its weight i believe it is better for school work than 2730p.

  • I'm going into an engineering program in the fall, and this is probably going to be my new laptop, you got the docking station obviously, but was it worth the extra 150? how do you make use of it on a regular basis?

  • Hello, i just ordered an Fujitsu T900. Have you found any problems with heat? I don't want an 3000AUD tablet dying randomly like my HP one.

  • What is the best 10" tablet out there?

  • Well I really like how it's a complete touchscreen suite and you can highlight pages so if something is important in a document you can save your highlighted work and you an "draw" on your desktop and save it as a background. But like I said before I'm a middle school student so there's a big gap between middle school and adulthood, lol
