  • A boat can also be leaned OUT of the turn and will turn MUCH quicker while performing a near full stop.. but in moving water, you have to adjust to the current. Kind of like running towards a lamppole and swinging around - the boat will loose forward momentum turning really quick. Good to get into very short eddies. Practice using the paddle as a pivot. Good to catch those micro-eddies!
