I'm so happy that this series is here! I've been wanting to try out Japanese cooking and i didn't have any good cookbooks. This is helpful! Thank you! Now I actually have an excuse to go to the Japanese grocery store down the street from my house for something other than snack! ^^ Yay!

I live in California. It's the single most diverse State in the US. I can't cook American style, SO if there weren't an Asian grocer nearby, I wouldn't ever cook.

I actually choose where I live based on the nearness of an Asian grocer. Tatoeba... I intend to move to Beaverton, OR because of the Japanese program at the Community College near there, they have the largest Japanese grocer in the entire State, & they are sister city to Gotemba, Japan! Heh. Is that weird?

Your lucky you live near a Japanese store. I live in a small town in the UK. There isnt even a chinese supermarket within 50 miles. ~_~

I want to make Pickled Daikon, Teriyaki Tofu and so much more. But I havent a clue how to make them. Let alone get the ingredients. SO count yourself lucky ^_^ *Envious glare of doom*
