@Joneperry, yes you will be fine with aluminum heads. I would prefer distilled but it takes a lot to do any damage due to minerals or added subs in regular water. You will be fine, I would still use regular water even if I have a new car.

What I cannot figure out is do you drain all the fluid out then you turn on the water hose then start the vehicle as the water is going through the system that's the way I take it? or what?

@JeepJKRiders @xX4monX4m4rthXx my head is aluminum, would you still run the risk if you were me, I am debating because otherwise if i dont flush with tap water, i will have to buy an air compressor from Sears or something and a water pump to pump distilled water from gallon jugs from Giant

@joneperry not on the materials used in the engine area, they get treated by either powder coat or simple heat treat. then with that done to them, they sometimes passivate to stop oxidation so it realy isnt that bad depending on the area you live in and the treatments in the water near you. but i would allways rec. distilled.

@Waltermarines89, you have remove top radiator hose, water is put in through the reservoir housing, start the motor and then flush for 5 mins. This only flushes the coolant inside the motor. After this, move hose to the radiator, the one you already disconnected, and disconnect the bottom hose on the other end of the radiator, this will flush the radiator itself. Reconnect hoses and add coolant in reservoir.



Oh Shit... I don't have an assistant to turn on my water hose.... will there be another expert video to instruct on how to obtain an assistant?
