http://www.johntallonjones.com Electric violin version of Drowsy Maggie (some bits of which were also used by East of Eden in their song JIG a JIG in the 70's) Effects used in this recording were a little reverb, some slight echo and doubling on the last verse. The backing track is simple guitar, bass and drums. It could be played faster, but i think this looses the feel of the tune, after all she is drowsy!!

  • yes it is and for the price it is not bad.On this video i had just bought it and was using it plugged into my mixer but i am using it through a great little effects pedal on my latest video Troika Dance and the pedal (Zoom GX1) takes away the slight hiss that you get off the pick up. The pedal also has some great effects like wa wa which is interesting on a violin.
