Fable Heroes Video Diary

In this brand new episode of the Lionhead Video Diaries we take a look at the XBLA game Fable Heroes. Key members of the development team share their views and ideas on Fable Heroes, the gameplay features and characters that gamers can expect for only 800 Microsoft Points from May 2nd 2012 onwards. Fable Heroes started out as part of our yearly Creative Day, a day where anyone from the studio can showcase an idea they have for a title. It was green-lit and a 5 person team started working on the title in early 2011. This video diary contains no spoilers but does show never-seen-before gameplay footage!

Our balls are exactly where they should be! This game was made by a rather small team of hardcore Fable fans who really wanted to develop a Fable game for XBLA. And they had the chance to do it at Lionhead.

Well, could you get a small team of hardcore fable fans to make a true sequel to fable 1, with all the original RPG mechanics, characters and established lore that you abandoned?

Guys of course they will make a Fable 4, it's successful series already and the Molynator even said he did't want to limit Fable to a trilogy.

Lionhead I have one question. Are you making or working on Fable 4? The Kinect Fable doesn't count. All I and many ask for is Fable 4. Thank you.

That would be possible to do in a different way. I'm over this, and I think everyone kinda knows better than to buy it if they haven't already. If they do, fine, if not, whatever. i'm over it. Just not taking Fable seriously anymore, that's a... The choice RPG has expanded vastly, don't need to depend on Fable anymore for that.

If you played the Fable games you would know that to the hardcore of us the hero dolls where nice to find and get, the fact that Lionhead have expanded on them for me is great
