This is a great song sung by the best singer
Britain has ever produced.

I listen to a lot of music on here, I can tell you without a word of doubt that the ladies singing on here, such as Barbara, and Jeniffer Warnes, etc have so much feeling when they sing that it makes most of modern day songs seem like rubbish. Where is the next real star coming from?

Too bad it's not released, I suppose it's owned by BBC. :-(

Wouldn't think so for a minute...Barbara has been my favourite female vocalist for many years....It doesn't stop me appreciating the grat talant that Susan Boyle pocessess nor does it make me any less a fan of Barbara....think you misinterpreted my comment but can't believe some of the posts on here....roll on November and the sale of Susan's album that should shut the critics up....and long may Barbara continue to rule!!

Yes, I have those albums too but this version's different, I'm guessing they sometimes re-record songs for Song of Praise (?).

Yes, it's a re-recording specially for the show... can't remember what year this was - 2003 maybe as Jerry Stevenson was still with her (on guitar)

Doesn't seem to be any of her known recordings, I actually prefer this one! Was this recorded for this programme, and not released elsewhere?
