  • Anybody who dies from AIDS is left in the disease's path of death. Numbers don't matter.

While populations may grow, if there is a lack of education about how the disease spreads, if there is a lack of care for those suffering, if the lack of basic medical help and household help, then many more will needlessly die.

  • " AIDS has swept across Malawi, leaving death in its path. "

Except that it didn't. The population of Malawi grew from 9.8 million in 1998, to 13.1 million in the latest population survey of 2008.

That is 33.67% over 10 years. Or, an average of 2.94% per year.

That's almost as high as Uganda, which consistently grew over 3% per year, even though it was supposed to have been depopulated by HIV/AIDS back in the 1990s.

AIDS in Africa is about projections and cooked books.
