Amazing Three-legged German Shepherd..Good bye, Gunther

Gunther, who we adopted though Illinois Doberman Rescue, shared 9 wondeful months with us before he developed hip dysplasia and was no longer able to walk due to his large size and the fact that he only had one working limb. He never knew he was handicapped until the day he could no longer get up. We let him go and hope he is outrunning all the other dogs at the "Rainbow Bridge."

@hello2864 Huh? Which dog? Gunther is deceased. The only dog in the video above who is still alive is Kilroy (the red dobe) All the others have since passed on. I wonder if this is common is rescue. They don't seem to live as long because of the neglect and/or abuse in their previous homes :-(

I had a tarantula too. Roaches is where I draw the line as well. Ugh. I won't even go to Florida in the summer because the roaches there are huge and they fly and are everywhere. that is when I am thankful for our minus 15 Illinois winters :-)
