Ahaha, just love how the last one says "Enjoy the lovely weather" while it's not "lovely" at all :P
-
Not a helmet or hi-vis clothing in sight... For shameeeeeeeeeee
-
Is it wrong that I kept waiting and hoping for one of them to crash, mid-sentence?
-
@philocall Because it's not a logical thing to do. #1, the risk of head injuries from driving is comparable, per hour -- so why not wear promote helmets for that, too? #2, the choice not ride a bike is a much larger health risk than the choice to ride with no helmet (it's been measured). It would be more logical to ask, whenever you see someone driving alone in a car in an urban area, "why are they driving?" It's a much larger risk to not get exercise.
-
@philocall First, more people riding. Then talk about helmets.

@TourAbsurd thanks for the link. On reading the article and especially the comments and links after it it's clear that the title is spurious and hence the question mark. I've heard the arguments before and the studies for and against but the bottom line is you will come off the bike at some stage and when it happens you will be better off with a helmet. Good luck with the campaign.

@philocall Look up the recent "Bicycle Helmets Proven Not To Make You Any Safer?" article on bicycletouringpro (dot) com ;)

@CyclingCampaign Excellent work

Good luck with the campaign but why is no one wearing a helmet in this video?
Nice video - can I make a constructive suggestion?
