  • You guys have given me excellent advice!! I'll start filming the corrections tomorrow and start things moving again!!

  • I think you should finish the Card effects first - THEN start turning over Monster Tokens. So there should be a NEW Monster next to you and the Skeleton should remain as it's flipped AFTER the Card effects.

  • @chillbocamron That sounds really good. I agree with your ideas on the timing. When filming, something just felt out of place so I stopped the video.

  • So maybe im looking at this wrong and im a little late but would you not move one of the monster tokens with you due to it saying two monsters??? not active monsters which would be more of a acurate discription for mosters represented by figuers?? So i would have played by first moving wolf and a token to farthest then fliping the moved token then procedding to flip the one that got you the skeloton. But im new to this style of D and D im use to the books and homemade maps.

  • I would also agree with chillbocamron. Card first - so wolf goes along. Then a second monster, would spawn next to you. As far as flipping a monster tile, I would say you didn't "move" there but were teleported there. I think the intent is that when you move during the Hero Phase you flip tiles. So the skeketon stays unrevealed until your next Hero Phase.

  • I agree with chillbocamron, do the card effects first then flip the tiles, its a brutal adventure and you drew a bad card :(

  • Agreed with chillbocamron !

first the card, and there's only one monster figure on the board.

so, you have to draw an other. (closest monsters BEFORE teleportation)

AND... you flip the tokens... (question : flipping tokens is for the hero phase, explo phase or whenever ?)

thank you for going on this hardly scenario

  • Yeah, it's all about a 'question of timing' with these games :)

BTW - I appreciate what you're doing for the BoardGame Community - because of you, I purchased Wrath of Ashardalon.

I avoided it at first because I'm an old-school D&D'er back from 1977 - I liked your take on the game and really enjoyed your commentary, you created it like a story - just like a good D&D game! Kudos!
