I try to install VMware tools and it says: "Could not find component on update server. Contact VMware Support or your system administrator.

@barod1 Can you send me a private email containing a screenshot of the error that you are seeing along with some additional details such as the specific VMware virtual platform and version that you are running this virtual machine on (ESX, Workstation, Fusion, etc...) and also the version of Windows that you are running within the virtual machine?

@dzoo11 the reason why it saying that it cannot be started is because when u were installing windows you were suppose to untick "EasyInstall",
