I spent a few hours on arranging the first minute of Andrew Bird's "Lull" and I would like to gather some comments to know if I should continue the arranging ;-)

sadly, the sheet is totally unrecognizable in the video, so I posted it for you to download and check the notes.

It sounds very irritating sometimes as it is converted into a midi-file by the application I used (MuseScore - feel free to download it at http://www.musescore.org/en for free) but I would be happy if you just told me what to change in the sheet, for it was real fun to arrange, but gets annoyingly hard after the first minute without having the absolute pitch...

Tempo = 104 Bpm

  • This is very nice! Thanks a lot for doing this! I've figured out the bowed violin part to Natural Disaster but I haven't written it down yet. Now I just need a looping device.

  • @SadCephalopod Thank you for your appreciation :)

    I just figured that I will never be able to note more than this, as it gets so much more difficult, I would never be sure of what I just noted...

  • @staubsaugar I've spent the last two hours working this out on my violin. If I ever find a video camera, I would like to film myself playing the various parts of this and then compiling them together to make the song. Is that alright with you? (though perhaps I should be asking Mr. Bird for permission :P)

  • @SadCephalopod I would actually never have guessed that this could happen :D

    Of course I am totally OK with you playing this, even though we can't really be sure if my arrangement is right ...

    have fun ;)
