SolidWorks Tutorial: Adding text to a surface

In This tutorial, i will show you how to add text to a surface.
You can use the shown examples on solid parts as well on surfaces with a zero thickness.
I also show how to add color to the text on the surface.

Left Right Arrows: Rotates about Vertical Axis Y Axis of screen

Up Down Arrows: Rotates about Horizontal Axis X Axis

Mouse: Hold Middle Mouse button move cursor rotates model in most CAD systems.

You can use the Offset From Face option as depth option instead of entering Blind depth to have the end of Text Extrude be a similar or offset face from Surface you are going from this would probably stop the error you got from the partial a intersecting with the face.

i have a problem....anytime i create the text the text appears within the peice. i want it to appear on the surface of what im making but it keeps creating itself within the peice. like in the middle of it
