In This tutorial, i will show you how to add text to a surface.
You can use the shown examples on solid parts as well on surfaces with a zero thickness.
I also show how to add color to the text on the surface.

    Keyboard

    Left Right Arrows: Rotates about Vertical Axis Y Axis of screen

    Up Down Arrows: Rotates about Horizontal Axis X Axis

    Mouse: Hold Middle Mouse button move cursor rotates model in most CAD systems.

  • You can use the Offset From Face option as depth option instead of entering Blind depth to have the end of Text Extrude be a similar or offset face from Surface you are going from this would probably stop the error you got from the partial a intersecting with the face.

  • i have a problem....anytime i create the text the text appears within the peice. i want it to appear on the surface of what im making but it keeps creating itself within the peice. like in the middle of it
