CAN CHRISTIANS EAT CRAB?

Are Christians required to follow the Old Testament meat laws?

Seventh-Day Adventist spin-masters take every New Testament verse concerning the meat laws - and to their shame - present the verses to mean the exact opposite than the direct text by the time they get done with them.

The Apostle Paul - and the Council at Jerusalem - clearly determined there was no need to place such burdens upon the Gentile Christians. Had the Gentile converts been required to slaughter or sell off all their "unclean livestock" - Paul's letters would have expressed such things. Instead, Paul's letters are all about freedom and respecting one another despite these differences. We should be grateful that these cultural clashes existed - because it was the very reason for the Pauline letters we all now cherish.

There was clearly a cultural clash between the Jewish Believers who were allowed to continue observing their meat laws and Sabbaths and the Gentile Believers to whom such things were foreign. The apostles declared they "gave no such command" when the "Pharisees that believed" reared up their ugly heads in Acts 15. The Council at Jerusalem was to settle the matter forever as to which of the laws of Moses were deemed necessary to hand to the Gentile Believers. If it "seemed good to the Holy Ghost" to not burden them with anything more than the few things they listed - who are you to override the Holy Ghost in this matter? Think about that Mr. Seventh-Day Adventist! Think about that Joel Osteen - our latest apostate!

How did we get into this mess(sin) anyways? Lucifer refusing to submit to the heavenly law of God? A women with free will that decided to disobey the strict command of God to not eat! Obedience threw the blood and death of our Lord and Savior Jesus is the the only way to the Father! We should obey God rather than men! We must walk as he did! When God allowed meat after the Flood -- did that change His character? Obviously not! So, your argument that it changes the Character of Christ if He now calls unclean meats now "cleansed" is likewise flawed. A New Covenant with a new Mediator makes of necessity a change of law Heb 7:12. Laws given for a specific reason later changed to a higher administration does not change Christ's character! "Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Gal 3:1-3

Only saints witch keep the commandment of God & the faith of Jesus Christ will enter! Wer did Jesus demenstrait his faith? Here on earth! If saints have to keep the faith that Jesus kept and if saints hav to keep the commandments of God and Jesus says he has kept the commandments of his father and asks us to keep the commandments to show that we lov him do we have to not eat unclean foods like him and keep the 10 commandments? Jesus instructed men to violate Sabbath law. He told the lame man to carry his bed on the Sabbath [which he could have gone back for after Sabbath was over] Jn 5:-9 and He allowed His disciples to pick corn on the Sabbath Matt 12:6-8; Mk 23-28. As Lord of the Sabbath -- a ceremonial observance -- He had the authority to do whatever He wanted to do with it -- and He did. You sadly align yourself with the Pharisee -- who accuse the blameless. I actually feel sorry for you.

I used to love Blue Crab. We ate Busshels of them. Now we can't because they are poisoned. I've been seeing this vid pop up all over in my TUBE list. What's the big deal. Everything is poisoned now. You're all over the place, man! Christ is the 2nd Adam who freely restored what the 1st Adam lost 1Cor 15:22, 45. There's no higher law than the words uttered from the mouth of Christ. He came & replaced all that was given at Sinai Dt 18:15-19; Gal 4:21-31. This doesn't mean a violation -- but rather a higher standard Matt 5. Unclean meats represented Gentiles nations -- to keep Israel separate Lev 20:23-26. Christ now says not to call what He hath cleansed unclean Act10.

In Revelation, the "Commandments" are just to not worship the Beast, his image, or take his Mark -- that's it. There is no other test during this time of trouble. It is not "Sunday-keepers" hunting down alleged "Faithful Sabbath-Keepers." In the days of RFID chips & satellites -- there will not be any resting in the mountains or forests. Plus, there is no world-wide way to distinguish a Sabbath-keeper from a "Sunday-Keeper" -- especially when it comes to buying & selling!
