I love the counter harmonies. what is Aneurin singing? (the lyrics)

The floating chair....what...the crap......?

Wow, this girl is amazing. So much different than Lea's. It's almost like, with Lea's, she had already given up, but here it was like she was going to fight like hell to get Melchior back and keep her kid.
And holy crap Melchior's voice is so freakin' pretty.
Stupid audience though.

what the fuck?!?!?! why are people laughing?! this is like on of the most UN-funny scene in the whole show - what could anyone possibly find FUNNY about this?!?! omg worst audience ever - with one of the best casts ever. such a shame - i feel bad for the cast - they must've been like "why are they laughing at us?!" :(
-
@MakeLifeColorful I like it, as it helps tell the story of how she has got to the point she has. And @GreenCatAssassin, the one thought I've just had about Melchior moving chair is that it represents his journey to the reformatory which is being discussed in the spoken sections here?

I LOVE that they added Melchior to this song- sitting in the chair for that long was really awkward not only for the audience but surely for the actor as well. It sounds wonderful and adds a whole other level to the song. I don't understand the moving chair, however.

I really prefer it without Melchior singing. I mean, I think it's a good idea, but it changes the mood of the song for me and takes the focus too much off of Wendla in her last moments.

I like the girl I saw here in Cleveland better.
WTF is all the laughing about?
