This is a old vid I found on my comp of a 8v8 vid RvR made while i was on lamorak classic, Shout outs to all my friends that still play on classic. If it was free I would come back :(. DAOC STILL has the best strategical pvp than any other MMO i have ever played.. and I have played most. Of course ppl know me as the RR11 Wizard Blackhole on there :).

@gh382 GW2 doesn't have realms, it just has a frontier that resets like a sport.

DOAC was the best time I ever had in an MMO as far as pvp went. It was brilliant because the focus on realm vs realm instead of player vs player allowed them to have a crapton of classes and keep the game relatively balanced where it mattered. Though they still had problems with server population balances. Still a great game until TOL came out. That ruined everything imo.

@smoothMousePad the game is still amazing, just a TON of high realm rank(pvp levels) people. So don't plan on soloing in pvp.

Also, that last post was regarding people complaining about graphics, which has nothing to do with gameplay tbh, I bet there are games you play that have crap graphics but enjoy the mechanics.

that is like saying Mario was horrible because it was 8-bit, Or GoldenEye for the N64 was complete trash for a FPS because the graphics of FPS's are way beyond what it showed. DAOC came out before Wow, and had the best graphics engine for any MMO out at the time.
