1984 BMW 325e top speed

I have the same car and I got my speedo to say 130 which is really 126 because mine is a little off. Is yours stock?

yeah it's stock. doesn't yours have a limiter on it? how can I get mine up to 126? That makes sense because at 120 I still have about 500rpm until redline so I know the engine isn't maxed out.

the max i have hit on my E is 120 before the limiter kicked in while in sport mode i was stoked.:D

i did about 120-122 on my stock e b4 it was chipped with a full exhuast. but now since my speedo is broken i don't know where i top out at. lol but i know its way higher then 122mph

I go to the dealer for a 1984 318i but they have to order the parts because they never have them in stock. Or are u lokking for aftermarket parts???

Where do you order parts for a 84 325e im trying to rebuild one, any suggestions where?

stage 3 head? what the fuck...this is not need for speed theres no such thing as a "staged" head, and headers do dick all, max like 3 hp increasment. and theres no way to make 250hp even with a different head, u would need either turbo or alot of tuning to the engine. a 325is head with its stiffer springs and better cams will give u a higher rpm range with a bit more power. and even with a catback exhaust ur gettin max 10hp if that. ur a tool.

I have a cold air intake from a 95 Toyota Celica on mine and the catalytic convertor is removed. Also, when I went 126 I had a straight through import style muffler. These cars have so much potential but the head is what's holding them back. A stage three head and race headers would put them over 250hp easily.
