i wont to get a border collie. what am i in for and what are the standerds to owning one? how much attention a day do they need?

I don't know about your situation, you may be a busy person with work, school, family, friends. If you have a busy social life, you don't need a dog! All dogs need a lot of attention. An older dog may be better for you, puppies are over-rated! A BC has the intelligence of a 5-year old child. They need busy work. Are you interested in agility? Are you willing to go to dog parks? well im willing to take him to the dog park 3-4 times a week. but i do have a life so im gone at night like 2-3 times at night but for like dinner or grocie shopping and what not. and im going to train him more and more every doy to. is that good enough for a border collie.and what kind of job can i give him cuz i dont have a farm im just a averege joe with a family
