  • Hey Dharjj, you've done some seriously impressive work! I was strongly considering Animation Master a while back, but one of the professional animators who used it (to create incredible stuff) told me that, although it was a very good software, development on the program seemed to have slowed to a crawl, and unless that changed in the very near future, Animation Master wouldn't continue to be a viable long-term contender. I'm curious if you agree with that statement or if you think it's still ok

  • @Matsuemon13 Hey Matsu, thank you for the kind words. Yes I agree with that statement. Animation Master is good for someone with low demands, or someone exploring animation in general.

  • @LunarChainFilms How passionate are you about animation?

  • @DharrJJ Thanks for the answers when I said technical stuff I ment like I have been doing the tutorial "Your the Director" and I was supposed to use "Keekat" and when I go to models in the library They don't show "Keekat or any other characters besides "Hairless Wokiee" the yellow guy and "Finished Face". Also under the word "libraries" I don't know if it should say "Actors" or something like that.

  • @thepuppetgod I live in the San Francisco area. The latest version I have is v14. I hear the latest version 16 has much faster render times, which is great. I know enough technical stuff to get my projects done, but I'm far from a sophisticated tech wiz. Your questions are best answered in the Animation:Master forum. Most of my projects now are in Maya. AnimationMentor is perfect if your goal is to work for production studios. Bishop is only available for current students or alumni.

  • @DharrJJ Thanks for replying!! sorry if I seemed weird but I wanted to make sure you replied. By the way were do you live? JUST KIDDING!!! Anyway a few starter questions like is it worth it that I bought it, what version do u have, is updating worth it, do you know the techcnical stuff, how is animation mentor, and is it possible to get Bioshop 2.0 without taking the classes thanks!!! ( I hope I wrote Bishop right but the program you use in animation mentor.)

  • @thepuppetgod thank you for the compliment, you really didn't need to stroke my ego to ask me questions ;o) but thank you none-the-less.

    Shoot; what's on your mind?

  • @DharrJJ I know your probably working very hard with you doing animation mentor but i'm your biggest fan for your videos and I have watched them all a million times especially St. James Infirmary!! But I'm just having so much trouble on animation master I ws wondering if you could just answer a few of my questions about it that would be great!!!!

  • DharrJJ is a modest person very good animator
