  • @wykedtube as long as it has fermentable sugars and you add yeast it will make alcohol

  • I used the method from your other video and made Wine from grapes from my garden this year. Have to say it turned out to be absolutely brilliant and I shared a bottle with my neighbours on New Years Eve who enjoyed it also AND not one of us or them had to resort to usig Immodium the next morning.

    Super HIC!

  • so what was the ac of this batch?

  • the Turbo clear is Just Chitosan , and Kiesol you can buy them at any wine making , or U-Brew place.

  • Nice vidoes! But after the fementasion is done is it drinkable or does it needs to sit for 1 month? Whats the difference in taste?

  • i used a coffee fliter hope that helps

  • hey ive eard that you can put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours to faster the drop of dead yeast..

you think its a good idea?

and eard that you can use coffee filter to make it super clean wine

    what do you think?

  • If you use a piece of aquarium tubing (new please) you can siphon the clear wine from the sediment quite easily. Just don't let the tubing get into the bottom of the jar and make sure your bottle you are siphoning into is lower than the one you are siphoning from

  • Yeah, I've tried it, as long as it's 100% apple juice with no additives or preservatives in it will work. You're best adding some more sugar into it before fermenting though, say an extra 200g per litre of apple juice. You can ferment any type or juice, I've just made 'Pinapple juicewine' haven't tasted it yet but it's nearly done.

  • You're best not filtering it at all it doesn't work unless you buy an expensive filering kit, what you're best doing is buying some 'wine finings' like Bentonite or Chitosan, just ask in your homebrew store or search for finings on an online homebrew shop. They are quite cheap and often will clear your wine within 5 days which is alot quicker than waiting for it to clear natuarally.
