Knowing that Prince Edward Island's conservative political parties are particially financed by the richest petro and chemical companies in the world I was personally blown away when the Green Party Leader Sharon Labchuk bravely defended the health of Prince Edward Islanders on TV. A much needed injection of realism into a debate that was avoiding the most serious issues of the day. I would surely eat more spuds from PEI if the industry was cleaned up for the sake of the health of consumers and Island residents. You go girl in bringing up the issue of so many abandoned and unmarked toxic sites around PEI too. I hoped that both young and old saw the Green Leader speak so real and compassionate. Very very well done no matter what happens on May the 28th, 2007.
I am very proud of Sharon Labchuk and all of those that helped out for the Green Party on the Island. More people here worked for one conservative party in my riding than voted Green last time. Even a loser like me would of won if I'd purchased an army of Nova Scotians paid for by the trawler, petroleum and lobbyists from foreign countries. Then I'd be a liar with no soul like the members of our present gov't;)

If I didn't already run as a candidate for the Nova Scotia Green Party during the June 13th 2006 general election I know I'd be voting Green based on the performance of Sharon Labchuk in this clip. Good for her and Islanders on May the 28th.
