@San47di1 Again, maybe I've got you wrong in which case I am sorry but in your first comment to me you said all sorts of negative things about Kristen Stewart and not once did you seem to accept that it was just your opinion (which is what I was trying to say to you in my first comment, like when I said that she obviously can't please everyone).
-
@San47di1 Maybe I've misunderstood you and if I have then I'm sorry but the reason I said that sometimes it's best to keep your opinions to yourself is because if you don't you may end up insulting someone. Not because they disagree but because you are implying that people who think differently to you, shouldn't. You proved that when you called my opinions infantile. Would it really be so difficult to restrain yourself?
-
@San47di1 You say that everyone has the right to their own opinion but from your first comment in response to my first comment I got the impression that you felt that it wasn't just your opinion and it was actually fact. When I first read your comments I didn't get that impression but when I told you that I disagreed you said all that stuff and then at the end put "Glad you like her". Now you call my opinions infantile, implying that you think that anyone who thinks differently to you is a child

@San47di1 Let me get this straight, I tell you that sometimes it's best to keep your opinions to yourself and you get all defensive and tell me that I am infantile, a child and that I need to grow up. My opinions are not infantile. Do you think that saying that a person is rubbish as this character and that someone else would have done better is not unkind? I'm not saying it's unkind to think it, as an opinion it is just an opinion but to go on the internet and say it is kind of thoughtless.
-
@MegaDontbestupid Please Grow Up!! Just because a person doesn't agree with your infantile opinions & comments does Not make what they've said 'nasty.' I'll revert back to your 1st accessment, that 'you were Not a part of my conversation,' so if you can't take the heat, keep your mouth out of 'grown folks' conversations, because it's now apparent to me that I'm talking to a child.

@San47di1 Also, it hardly matters if she's a bore off screen and in any case how would you even know? I hate it when people complain about an actor being boring in an interview or something because it's not their job to be interesting off screen and you can't know what someone's like through interviews anyway. You don't have to like her, no one does, but I get upset when I see how easily people can say nasty things on the internet without a care for the world. That's why I'm ranting.
-
@San47di1 She's not wooden. You really shouldn't say stuff like "This girl would have been better than this girl" I don't think it's nice to say things like that, not online anyway. I know that Kristen Stewart probably won't see it but, when you comment on the internet you have to remember that your comment is not only permanant but there for the world to see. Rich or not rich It must make people very uncomfortable knowing that there are spitefull comments about them all over the internet.

@MegaDontbestupid Everyone has a right to their opinion .. I just don't share yours. Pattinson is a perfect Edward. Emilie de Ravin from the movie "Remember Me" would have made a Much Better 'Bella' then Stewart's slow 'pulling teeth' wooden performance. You would think Stewart's having acted since childhood would show a substantial improvement over time, but I don't see it; therefore, so much for her so-called 'more experience.' She's a total "bore" both on & off the screen. Glad you like her

@San47di1 I know there are places she needs to improve on in her acting but I don't doubt that she will and at least she's natural (or at least I find her to be). Also, Stephanie Meyer was part of the casting decision so if she thought that Kristen was good as Bella, then presumembly Kristen played her the way Stephanie originally saw her to be. To be fair to Kristen, there are so many fans of the book it would be impossible for her to please everyone. I'm not having a go at you by the way.

@San47di1 I know I'm not a part of this conversation but I have to say I disagree about the actors. Personally I find Lautner to be terrible. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson together make Edward and Bella really good as a couple. I think if it had been somone other than Kristen then it would have had to have been someone else playing Edward as well. Also don't forget that Kristen has had a lot more experience than Rob.
I saw the movie first, then I read the books. He's the one that drew me into reading the books because I wanted more.

He's completely wrong in thinking it is just the book people like. Lots of very popular books have been made into movies, but have failed and sequels were never made. This is the perfect meeting of character and actor. They like the character, but they also really like Rob.
