@TaffyRaphie you couldnt be more wrong my friend they can sing live! u need to watch many more videos. today was just a bad day for them.
-
man...they really can't sing live, huh...
-
@hojima Skipped the double-bass at the beginning and towards the end. I didn't see him as the type of drummer to not play his best live, ALTHOUGH, In recent videos from 2010-11 he actually does play the double bass so I guess he shut me up

@Tdrummer888 uh how?
-
Never thought I'd ever have to say this. Brann, I am dissapoint. He Lars Ulriched Iron Tusk DX
-
@JunkCCCP He is not trying to be like James Hetfield. That is just how Troy sings. I love Mastodon, but they are kind of terrible singers on stage. They sound great on their albums, but on stage they are a little off haha

Idk, It just kinda bugs me though. It's kind of dissaponting that he can only pull that off in studio though.

@1masterdestroyer I was just talking to a friend about this last night actually...we found that compared to the song on the album, which is 3:03, their live version is usually around 2:40. I think maybe it's so fast that Brann might have some trouble engaging that fast double bass. It's pretty fast on the album; imagine how much faster it would have to be in this video. I know what you mean though...that part was one of my favorite parts of the song.

What the fuck is with the vocalist trying to be James Hetfield?
Sing it how it is on the album, dude, it's way better that way.
Mastodon destroyed. What an unworthy audience.
