I am an avid horror fan! The bloodier the better! I saw this episode when I was 25yrs. old at Oxford University back in the UK! The false security the girl has for the woman, I had a million times in my life by backpacking through Scotland every summer! This episode changed my life forever! Fellow males students had to walk me back to my room that evening I was so scared!

is this the one that shows the lingering shot of the flypaper covered in flies(from a corpse i presume?).for some reason i recall seeing that as a youngster but not sure what programme

I love this programme! I have every episode on dvd but none of them ever scred me like this one. It makes my flesh crawl, and I didnt guess the twist, I just sat aghast at what was gonna happen to Sylvia, poor thing :(

This was probably the most sinister episode of this series. Very disturbing ending.

this brings back memories of watching tv through the crack of the living room door when my parents thought I was in bed!
Wonderful times and a wonderful Bye-Gone Britain. Give me this and a Hammer House of horror anyday.
