im german and my english isnt't very good but i understand her perfectly. And i think it's better for improving your understanding skills listening to original spoken english.

mais oui pleasing to the ear indeed. apparently you understood me afterall. that to say as much is a subjective experience i assumed went without saying. assumptions can be so misleading, non?

That whole coin bit cracked me up.

By the way, if you're looking for TEFL material - perhaps you should watch professionally made North American ESL videos. There are loads out there - and the actors speak very slowly and clearly. : )

Poor pronunciaton? ROFLMFAO!!! I am a native English speaker so there is nothing wrong with my pronunciation. Perhaps you can't understand me because I have an unfamiliar accent. Have you ever left America? If you have trouble understanding me, I hate to think how you would get on understanding the millions of people in the world who speak English as a second language.
..it's not the most euphoniest of accents though.. is it.

Just as you can't say that one style of music sounds better than another style ... it's just a matter of personal taste. If you don't think it sounds good - then it doesn't, to you. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. btw Don't you mean euphonious?

i'm not going to refute something i've never said thedailyenglishshow. the 'good or bad' interpretation of my comment is a value judgement entirely of your own making.
perhaps before policing my use of the term 'euphoniest' it might help if you clarify my meaning before you impose your own interpretation. the use of language is down to personal style and taste afterall. non?

OK. I assumed you meant "euphonious adj. sounding pleasant".
What do you mean by "euphoniest" ?

I am an American and can understand her pretty well. There are so many dialects in English; who's to say that one is "better" than another? She's not about to change the way she speaks English (and has been speaking English for 27 years) for anybody's sake. If her students don't have a problem, neither should we native English speakers.

Thanks : ) I agree, no accents are better or worse than others.
