Cover version of the Elmore James classic - It Hurts Me Too. As with lots of these numbers, I heard this by a brit first (john Mayall's Bluesbreakers - with Eric Clapton playing some great guitar - at least I think its Eric from memory). Here I'm using my Danelectro 59 DC with my Fender Champ 600.

  • nice! which tuning is this?

  • @icarusrohit

    thank you

.tuning before the capo is fitted DADGAD

  • @bennettskb555

I hate to be a know-it-all (actually I love it ;-)) But that isn't DADGAD my friend. That's open D (DADF#AD), which was Elmore's standard tuning (also used by Keith Richards on "Street Fighting Man", fact fans!)

Still, nitpicking aside, a very nice performance and tone. I really fancy one of those DC59s, and at less than 200 nicker it seems like a steal.

  • @llanbo

Your right of course, not a tuning I have used much.

    Thanks

  • brilliant steve :)

Hi....Danelectro guitars are unconventional as they are made using unusual materials

including ply wood for the body frame. The guitars are made cheaply but offer good value for money

    and some unique sounds.

  • are danelectros quality quitars?

  • @njuham

    Cheers
