July 20 - With very little water and no discharge, Israeli marine biologists say they have developed the world's first environmentally friendly aquaculture system, using enclosed tanks to raise organic fish anywhere in the world. Grow Fish Anywhere plans to expand in Europe and the U.S. once they have settled a legal dispute with another group over adaptations to the patented technology. Jim Drury reports.
@CrazyCamo if they don't used chemical is safer to eat than the one you catch in the ocean or river..that's for sure, I had 20 years experience working in the field of fish farming, and the way it looks about this system is very safe..IF THEY DON'T USE CHEMICALS, THANKS gamz1993 for your info about that..Good luck and God bless

yep, pretty dumb, only fish farming I want to see happen is in the open ocean, now there is the real challenge! Id like to know what they are doing with the waste. If it's just being eaten away by microbes like in your septic tank.... What a waste!!!!

This is a good system, but they certainly didn't invent it - there are dozens of closed recirc systems around the world that pre-date this one. It has nothing to do with where the people are from, the fact is that this is not a new invention.
