I was in this , but i'm 11 now, I was also close to the tornado of parkursburg or however you spell it but i live in cali now :(

I moved here to Cedar Rapids from Washington in the june of 08. The exact week of the flood.

This is one of the most touching videos on you tube And being as i live in Cedar Rapids i would know if this is touching or not I LOVE CEDAR RAPIDS AND WE WILL BE REVIVED AND WE WILL COME BACK TO PROVE THOSE WHO THINK A SMALL TOWN LIKE US CANT COME BACK WRONG!!!!!

ii was so close thank god it we had a hill otherwise i probaly would of lost my home cedar rapids ftw!

yea i lost my house in this too but with the help of family and the community even thing is better then it would have been without them.

i was also directly effected by the flood but the great thing about living in iowa is that we can prevail through terriable events and that there are already places coming back to downtown and we will make it through this
