The Lark is a beautiful song, and it could not have come from anywhere but Kates backyard which is Penniston, South Yorkshire. There are more commercially successful tunes but none so beautiful
-
My new Martin Strings took a while to settle in I think I am going to like them but prefer dyaddario because they are lighter and a little bit chrisper and nearer Kate. Brilliant.

10,000th view :D

I saw her yesterday at Reading Concert Hall. Was very good! Amazing singer!
-
You have made me feel even prouder to be from Barnsley. Thanks Kate.
-
It's fun to see her sing "fa la la m ba dee dn da da m ba!" Love that song...

I'm not ashamed to say that her accent brought a tear to my eye. She speaks the truth when she says hearing a Yorkshire accent touches your heart. I live away from home at uni. I havn't been home in quite a few weeks. I only live 20 miles from Penistone and my mum's from Barnsley so this is very close to my heart.
Yorkshire Born And Breed!
And Bloody Proud Of It!

or as i like to call it...making sad a happy sound.
Well Ms Rusby. It's Christmas Day and I've eaten til I can eat no more and am now listening to Your Music videos on You Tube. My guitar is tuned and I'm playing along with Sir Eglamore on my lovely Yamaha APX 5A whilst intoxicated. It's wonderful.... I love you Kate xxxxx

That version of "Bitter Boy" literally stopped me in my tracks. If her voice in that song can't affect you, then you arent alive
