  • This Allegro it make alot of sense. Imagine how the eighteenths / sixteens should come after another in a faster tempo. The movements tempo depends always on the musical level of understanding of soloist.

  • If they play the allegro movement this slowly, imagine how the adagio part must sound.

  • It's not "too slow". From my point of view it's very clear interpretation. It's slower than others, but it makes a lot of sense.

  • @yurichka1963 Gomberg is the star.

  • This sounds lovely but it is far too slow for my taste.

  • Splendid!

    Thank you.

  • wonderful!!!!!

  • STERN-IS THE STAR

  • Ohhhhh........perfection. Although I tend to appreciate his brother Ralph's sound more, this recording with Harold is just spectacular - one of my favorite pieces by two of the best musicians to play it!

  • That violin solo at 1:58 is really nice. It repeats at 4:22 - slightly altered. I like it. Thanks.
