Vivint/APX is a scam... I use to work for them. Check out the testimonial I made about all the ways they screw over there customers. It isn't right... especially considering they are mostly a mormon company.

@jimdog1964 I don't know if you know much about alarm contracts but that's how it is for nearly ALL alarm companies so do a little research. When you sign up for a new contract term the way to get equipment free is to sign up for a term agreement, Same thing goes with cell phones, come on you can be this clueless. To get a new phone free you just need to sign with the companies and say that you will remain with that companies for a certain amount of time. Most cell phone companies its 2 years.
