@GhengisJohn I disagree. I think Inoue wants Ichigo in her life, but she doesn't want him to die for her. Of course, I may be biased since I'm rather Inoue/Ichigo.

I remember her using it once. Ichigo was in front of her, getting his ass seriously kicked, and all she was doing was saying 'Kurosaki-kun! Kurosaki-kun! Kurosaki-kun! Kurosaki-kun!" And suddenly, she shields him with a weak-ass shield that quickly breaks. And then, Ulquiorra ask (what every fan was thinking at that time) 'Why didn't you use your shield earlier to save him?". But thats it I think...

@Anaiasocool lol, i really don't remember but she used her shield already on Ichigo, i don't know when but she did. And actually healing is helping also.

In catching back up with this show I've been reminded of a difference between Rukia and Inoue that's pretty striking (to me at least).
Rukia would die to protect Ichigo.
Inoue would want Ichigo to protect her even if he died.
It's not like I don't like both of them. It's just that I find Rukia that much more likable.
