En la mañana del domingo, 20 de febrero 2011, un hombre ingresó, a bordo de un camión, a la Plaza de Bolívar de Bogotá y de allí bajó unos restos de su hijo muerto hace 4 años. Afirma que se trata de un hecho relacionado con falsos positivos en Norte de Santander. Más de 2.000 jóvenes inocentes asesinados y vestidos como guerrilleros, solo para mostrar el positivo éxito del gobierno de Álvaro Uribe Velez, en la guerra contra la insurgencia de Colombia. La Policía condujo los restos a Medicina Legal.

Raúl Carvajal viajó desde Montería hasta Bogotá, y en la Plaza de Bolívar sacó del camión los restos de su hijo muerto hace 4 años, cuando se desempeñaba como Sub oficial del Ejército. Según él, fue asesinado por no involucrarse en un caso de falso positivo. También denunció que la esposa y la hija del uniformado fueron desaparecidas después de la muerte de su hijo.

Otro hombre encargado de conducir el camión con los restos dijo que llegaron hasta Bogotá, para exigir justicia. La denuncia fue escuchada por más de tres horas y solo hasta después de las 10 de la mañana las autoridades retiraron el camión.

La Policía condujo a Raúl Carvajal hasta Medicina Legal en donde le dijeron que le entregarían los restos luego de la investigación.
