Mama Who Bore Me Rehearsal

My friends and I did a version of Mama Who Bore Me Reprise from Spring Awakening for our school talent show this fall. Rather than focusing on the song being from the show, we did the song more as a girls group acapella, more as a performance than actually acting out what it was like from the show.

This was an early rehearsal, about a month before the show, the first recording we did of it.

this was a rehearsal, so we weren't full out. we were better with the acting for the actual performance. thank you!

Beautiful voices. The harmonies were spot on. But, I'm sorry to say, your bodies look disconnected with your voices. Stop trying to immitate what you saw from the professional show. Personally, I think it would LOOK better if you put moves in there that feel natural to you. Not moves that you've seen done that go with the song. Your performance SOUNDS great, but in terms of overall showmanship, the VISUAL portion is lacking.
