Just after the ribbon is cut on the new Disney Pixar themed land at Walt Disney Studios Park on 17th August 2010, we're first in line for "Toy Story Mission Parachute" - a thrilling and fun ascent and descent drop tower where the Green Army Men train you for a daring mission in Andy's Backyard. The engines of your circling plane roar overhead and you're afforded a stunning aerial view over the whole of the new Toy Story Playland, including Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, RC Racer and the upcoming Ratatouille area!

Is the Toy Story section still in Disneyland? Where abouts is it?

I haven't been to Disneyland in a few years (we used to go every year) but we're going for my nephews 3rd birthday next year... CAN'T WAIT!

I remember hearing there was suppose to be a ride like this planned at the Disney California Park. It would've been called "Green Army Man Parachute Drop." It was suppose to replace the Maliboomer but Disney decided to add a park at the spot instead. However it would've had three towers instead of one like we see here.
