This is (Video 2 of 2) from the game Project Snowblind on Playstation 2. This was a match played online with XLink Kai on 11/21/09. ( http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ ) . This game's online servers have been taken down, so it can only be played online with LAN tunneling applications like Xlink Kai.

This game has some very interesting weapons. The developers were very creative with them. Consequently, the weapons are a blast to use and feel very different from other shooters.

There are cool vehicles to use in the multiplayer as well. You can get in a mech, a tank, a car that can do nothing but run people over (if you can handle the weird steering of it), and there are jeeps with turrets on the back (warthog clones basically). Even when you are not in a vehicle, you are not overpowered by them. You have many grenades and secondary functions of weapons that work well to take out vehicles.

The only thing that really bothers me about this game is the insanely slow walk speed. You cannot run in this game. The maps are made for like 16 players, so when you are trying to play with like 3 or 4 people it is very annoying being forced to walk so slowly across the maps.

This particular maps really shows shows you how the game is focused on 16 player games. The map is humongous.

Xlink Kai lets you play PS2 games online even once their online servers are taken down. This means that playstation 2 games can be played online forever. The catch is it only works with games with a LAN mode. This is because the program uses a games LAN to trick the game into thinking players across the world are playing on its Local Area Network (LAN).

  • @syntheticsolace I own this game and know a few other xlink users that do as well. If you want to try to setup a game of this with the PS2 version through Xlink Kai check out

    ps2onlinegaming(dot)com

The purpose of this site is to make it easy to schedule ps2 online and ps2 LAN tunneling (Xlink Kai) matches.

  • :( the green blob was only trying to be friendly

  • @GIFTEDxMARKSMAN NO he was an ASS!

  • Okay, can someone explain to me what Xlink Kai actually is? From what I've tried to understand, its a program that you download on to your computer and it allows you to play online using using LAN. But let's say that I wanted to play P:S online using this program, would I be connected to other players playing P:S, even the players playing on different systems? Like if I had a ps2 and used this to play PS is there a possibility that I was also playing with an xbox user, or vice versa?

  • @FPSshadex Yes it is a program that lets you play LAN gmaes online. NO, you cannot play with users on different consoles.
