Thank you for this posting. I'm a black senior history major and I've never heard of this man, one of our own scholars. This is why I want to educate my people about our history and people living today that are trying to enlighten the Black people. This is the first time I seen an educator, teacher of this level take his education, wisdom, and academics to explain the socio-economical disparties within the races to empower black people, to understand where the disadvantages come from. This was a real black history lesson.

@fmcneillii Please don't be discouraged by my words and the Dr's words. What he is saying in essence is we must go beyond making money and start making a difference. The only way we can truly affect change and control our destiny is by being in a position of power and authority in the market place. Stay positive but understand what's at stake. Also understand the field of competition and your place in it. Be realistic and plan accordingly. Make it happen. God bless.

@fmcneillii Congratulations! That is excellent. Now who will you market your software too? Where will you get your business supplies from? Who will you employ? What community charities and outreach programs will you be a part of? Where will you be in the chain of Black capital bouncing in own community. It's excellent that you aspire to create your own business opportunities. My point is it can't stop there. We have a greater obligation to our people and our children. We must build legacies.
