I was in a meeting with Universal Music Publishing, V.P. of Christian music, Michael Puryear, in April of 2007. I asked him where the current Christian music market was going. As he began to answer my question, I realized I had my digital camera in my briefcase. I asked if it would be okay if I shot some video, and he agreed. I wish I had a tripod handy ;-) but his answer was extremely educational. Enjoy, Michael

  • I am a Christian artist who would love to share my music with anyone...I have loads of songs I have written and composed...I am a keyboardist based in Nashville...I'm so glad the web has made it possible to share my music with other Christians.

  • Thank you for showing the direction to go in. I'll be heading that way.

  • Being a Christian songwriter, I found this 2 pt series very informative and helpful. Some of the terms he used, like CHR, I had no clue as to what they stand for. But I enjoyed viewing these clips. Thanks TAXI!

  • spot on. thanks for posting this and all the other videos, Mike, and TAXI.

  • please continue these videos- especially developing how radio is responding- i've found them somewhat opposed the the crossover hits you're referring to, in my trips to their stations this last year.
